If you were a kid in the 90’s, you had a collection of trading cards. It didn’t matter if you loved comic books, cartoons or these weird things called “sports”; you were a kid in the 90’s, you had trading cards. And the best game in town was from the elite trading card company Topps.
As of right now, Topps is the only manufacturer in the baseball trading card business and they are once again stepping back in the pop culture ring with a new series of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trading cards this summer.
Topps has officially announce a new card series called The Art of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The series will feature art from many of the most famous creators and artists from the rich TMNT history, including Jim Lawson and Michael Dooney.
While this isn’t the first TMNT-related trading card set from Topps as back in the early 90’s, Topps released cards based on the first animated series and several of the live action films. If you’re interested in learning more, you can find the official announcement on Topps’ website.
